Assam Government Minority Girls Scholarship 2023-24: Guidelines, Instructions, Online Application

Minority Girls Scholarship Programme was introduced by the Assam Government Directorate of Secondary Education specially for the girls belonging to the minority communities. Under this programme, the Assam Government had decided to provide scholarship to minority girls enrolled in government, provincialised or private educational institutions. This scholarship is mainly for those minority students who are currently studying in class X, IX and XII.

Eligibility criteria for Minority Girls Scholarship Programme:

• The girl student must mandatorily belong to minority community.
• The girl students must be currently studying under class X/IX/XII in 2023-24.
• The students must be enrolled under any Assam Government aided/provincialized/private schools.
• Only Two (2) unmarried girl children of same parents are eligible to get the benefit of the scholarship scheme.
• The applicants should mandatorily possess ADHAAR card.
• The girl students/applicants should have their own bank account.
• Their is no family annual income criteria for applying to this scholarship scheme.

Guidelines for Online Application of Minority Girls Scholarship Programme:

• Each Institution shall REGISTER and SUBMIT ONLINE APPLICATIOPNS on behalf of all the eligible candidates.
• Eligible candidates need not submit individual applications.
• For Institution REGISTRATION, each Head of the Institution (HoI) must have a valid E-mail
  ID & Mobile No. of the Head of the Institution (HoI).
• Before filling-up of the online applications the Head of the Institution (HoI) shall download the
  Advertisement/Guidelines for Minority Girls Scholarship and read the instructions carefully.
• The Head of the Institutions (HoI) must ascertain the eligibility of the candidates before filling up of application forms.
• The Head of the Institution (HoI) shall collect the original Bank Pass Book, Aadhaar Card of
  the eligible girls’ students for the scheme.
• The responsibility of correct entry of Bank Details lies solely on the Head of the Institution.
• The Department will not take responsibility of disbursing the scholarship money to any
  candidate with incorrect bank details.
• The Head of the Institution (HoI) shall register his/her institution in the portal using the institution UDISE Code, Mobile No., E-mail ID in the name of the Head of the Institution (HoI).
• Once the OTP verification is completed, the Institution can LOGIN for submission of ONLINE APPLICATIONS for Minority Girls Scholarship.
• The Head of the Institution should note down his/her PASSWORD and keep it in safe custody
  to avoid misuse.
• The PASSWORD is necessary for further Login and keeping it in Safe Custody is the
  responsibility of the Head of the Institution.
• Please note that WRONG ENTRY of data of candidates during submission of ONLINE
  APPLICATION FORM for Minority Girls Scholarship cannot be corrected by this office. The office will not take any kind of responsibility for the same.
• The E-mail ID and Mobile number of the Head of the Institutions (HoI) will be used for further
  correspondence.
• After accepting the above terms and conditions the Head of the Institutions shall click NEXT
  BUTTON to display and submit online application form.
• The Head of the Instruction (HoI) shall identity the eligible girl students of his/her institution only, who are studying in class X, XI & XII and belongs to Minority Communities of Assam.
• The head of the Institution shall fill-up the ONLINE APPLICATION of each student continuously till the completion of the application of the last candidate by a single LOGIN.
• There is a provision to make changes in the application form before clicking the SUBMIT
  BUTTON.
• The Head of the Institution should verify the each and every information of the Application
  Form. Once he ascertains the filled-up data, he/she has to save the data.
• Application once SUBMITTED cannot be corrected later.
