Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana-Ayushman Asom আয়ুষ্মান অসম মুখ্যমন্ত্ৰী জন আৰোগ্য যোজনা MMJAY is an elaborate health scheme of the state of Assam launched while following the footsteps of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. It was launched on 10^th May, 2023 as a mark of celebration of 2^nd anniversary of CM Himanta Biswa Sarma led Government of Assam. The Chief Minister designated this scheme as a ‘double-engine government’ as it acted as a catalyst to the existing and successfully running Ayushmaan Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana PMJAY.

Key features of Ayushman Asom Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana MMJAY:

1. It is a family floater health assurance scheme offering cashless medical treatment up to Rs.5 lakh per eligible family per year.
2. Beneficiaries listed under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) who have an Adhaar Card and are not covered under AB-PMJAY shall be eligible for the scheme.
3. 1578 procedures in more than 300 empanelled hospitals in Assam and all AB-PMJAY empanelled hospitals across the country.
4. Approximately 26 lakh beneficiary families will be covered under the scheme.
5. E-KYC drive under AB-PMJAY and AA-MMJAA for NFSA beneficiaries is being conducted by Government authorized frontline workers.

The application process for Ayushman Asom Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana is an offline procedure where the beneficiaries need to visit their nearest enrolment centers for application process. However it is necessary and mandatory to submit photocopies of ration card and ADHAAR card of the beneficiaries.
