Jibon Prerana Scheme is one of the most important youth welfare programs launched by the Assamese government to assist recent graduates during the critical time between finishing their higher education and finding work. In order to help unemployed graduates prepare for competitive exams, skill development programs, entrepreneurship opportunities, and job searches without experiencing immediate financial hardship, the initiative offers temporary financial aid.
Many graduate students have had trouble obtaining acceptable jobs right away after finishing their education in recent years. Students and their families frequently experience financial strain due to the time between graduation and work. Acknowledging this difficulty, the Assam government launched the Chief Minister’s Jibon Prerana Scheme, which uses the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism to offer direct cash assistance.
The program acts as a link between college and work, allowing graduates to concentrate on activities that advance their careers rather than fretting unduly about everyday costs. The government hopes to boost the state’s human resource development and empower state youth through this project.
